Marketing plot

Image
It’s funny how launch of Disney + in UK was around the start of the lockdown. Marketing planning? Did they plant a virus... but all jokes aside we love it!  Unless the internet isn’t working which happens on occasion. But yeah, kid been watching lots is Pixar, I have tried to push Nat Geo animal documentaries but he wasn’t having it. Also we discovered all the short films! Oh my the Float made us both cry and hold little one tight. If husband started with Simpsons I feel into the hole is Star Wars! And there is so much of it and I never even see these before. Oh it keeps me busy when I don’t fancy watching a film or anything (like hubby playing his mine craft)  I guess I was always a fan of fantasy sci fiction fan. I just didn’t have the access to it. But I just enjoy it for what it is, fun escaping and great story telling. I don’t have an issue with new trilogy and with Jar Jar Bings even thought the prequels were well so long and boring.  (Here is my little light things...

Toy overload. Parenting hack.

Image
We are the only one with a child so we get a lot of toys given. And it is wonderful, however... Toys took over our living space Egg didn't show any interest in any Mess was everywhere Noisy toys are the worst! All the storage is for toys  Egg empties everything  This has to stop! But how to you tell people that enough of toys please and do not sound like an ungrateful SOB? Well for Christmas we set the limit that if you are getting Egg a toy get just one. Yeah that worked.... I suppose grand parents are here to spoil! But we also got a lot of book, and this is actually super awesome! Thank you great grand mama aka Snowy.  So after spending yet another evening mainly putting the toys away I have decided to sort and hide. So I put away all the little toys and ones he hasn't really play with since being a little baba.  Then I put all the wooden blocks, wooden cars, wooden train track together and took it to the spare room. Same happened to noisy t...

Marvel

Image
So the best way to celebrate your forth wedding anniversary is to do a 10K race, go to the cinema and go to 5 guys for a burger... Well you know all about the race  now I would like to tell about my second favourite instalment of Marvel Universe.  In case you are wondering the Guardians of the Galaxy is my favourite Marvel film! And I have seen it like 100 times!  So we after leaving the little man with Gramy we headed out to see Ant Man. All I knew is that Edgar Wright refused to direct it due to issues with Marvel but still did the story and such.. Oh and of course that Ant Man super power is to get really small. Well I got to say it was really cool and so much fun! We get to see the back story the new story. We got to see the no offence to anyone less important Avenger and we saw Agent Carter. Speaking of a lovely lovely Peggy Carter ( Hayley Atwell ) she has her own show Agent Carter. It's awesome, she's such a badass!! Big fan right now. Oh and i...

Kimmy Schmidt

Image
Do you love Netflix?  How about the the Netflix own series? I guess everyone been raving about house of cards with Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, I actually haven't watched it yet.  But I enjoyed Hemlock Grove.  So how one would feel about if super funny and talented Tina Fey did a show for Netflix?  If you haven't seen Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt yet you should watch it. It's bananas and this show has a heart!  Basically we watched all the season within few days! With a little man it is like a record. So yeah, it's a show about a girl made by a girl!! WOOOO

getting into a spirit of all of it...

It will be just us with pets for Christmas.... Less responsibility and bit less stress. No crazy wrapping frenzy... It is actually nice, but we will be heading to Sunny Wales in January. Actually cannot wait to see everyone!! I was feeling bit down lately work been really stressful... for both of us. And pets can only cheer you up that much. Besides bunny doesn't like to hug much:) So today we had a little stroll throw the German market...   the warmth of the mulled wine:)     But I am actually almost done with Christmas shopping... Oh the stress of it... Now I m just shopping for my bday presents for my self:) Best kind of present really.   Also the tree is up     And both Molly the Cat and Daisy the Bunny had a go on brining it down or eating it. Don't they know it's not real and won't do them any good. Silly pets:)   I also have a box of baby oranges (baby oranges any satsumas, clementines and other similar...

too many shops...

Image
So I still do not know many people here in Brum so girl gotta do something....  Really did not feel like cinema lately. So I went to look in the shops....  Absolutely loved this hat... Wish I could wear hats all the time. But only hats like that.  I'm mainly now in my hood trying to hide from this terrible weather we been having here in UK. How Dolce and Gabbana are these earrings?! I died!  But these aren't exactly my cup of tea, but still these are awesome. River Island. Now this I wanted to try on... But was too lazy. Not that I have space or need for a pink 80's party dress. but it's just too cute... right? And returning to Dolce and Gabbana .... £37 for this beauty!  Bead-tastic... I do not know if I want these things but I really thought these were really awesome. And picture taking quality.. Yes, there is such quality. It is this time of the year when I become a bit grumpier... as I will get older in f...

we are settling in

Image
We moved to Birmingham.. its was a long day. Yeah at some point I was entertaining the pets:)   Very special thank you to Viera, who was amazing and come to give us a hand in moving.  As us girls went for a drinkie to the pub my amazing husband was left home to deal with all that madness of furniture, boxes and bags... We only moved on Thusrday but already almost finished bedroom, mancave, living room and kitchen. Although we had to rebuilt some things twice and Stephen shouted at me... He was so annoying that he made me laughed uncontrollebly. I was like in halves on the floor giggling away. Oh btw how do you like this wall paper, it actually glitters too and has soft bits. Seem to be expensive but still looks a bit like brothel wallpaper. It grows on me ... slowly! Today we went for a wonder around... sat in the sun for a bit in Warley Wood And then we played with our garden. I actually learn to plant stuff. Steph...

My babies...

One day hubby went to the market and came back with three little brown rats. We can never named them, since they actually looked exactly the same, although they really had different characters. Sadly two of them died recently and now there is only one little rattie left... She looks a bit sad. So we are trying to keep her busy as we can...  Today she was building the nest. And then we have lovely Daisy-poop.... or Daisy-cal or "Stupid rabbit won't let me shower her with love"-says Stephen when she runs away from him.  Daisy was really not impressed when I had to put little rat into her cage... The do have a strange relationship.  Daisy had her hair pulled by the rat then she ran away, but yet curiosity... they can sit together on the sofa with me between them. Oh silly things.  One thing... I do not think I would want to have more rats. It was too upsetting finding one of them dead in the morning. Too sad to lose ones pets...

Oh I love Animation

Cartoons!!!  Oh nothing makes me feel so good... But the good ones, not sponge bob. Please I have taste. Lately my favorite Disney's things are...  Tangled It is very cute and funny. As usual love wins and the big evil ends up dead! Princess and the Frog with Cajun flare and lots of jazz! Lately I have been watching a lot of Studio Ghibli cartoons. Working throw the hole lot of them. They are delightful... and so cute. Husband says they are not futuristic and kind of lame, I say he has no taste! How can you not love this cutie pie? I also watched Howl's moving castle not doubt with just subtitles. It is like a whole new film, but it is still very nice... Howl's transformation is more touching.  Cartoons make me happy. It's my another happy place, the made up world full of colour and magic! Simply delightful! From the latest releases I did enjoy Rise of the Guardians... Hugh Jackman as an...

random...

I got a collection of random and interesting pictures on my phone... so I though hey, I will share these! So object number one is a book chair... It't just so cute, looks like a real deck chair but still a book stand. I think I might want one for Christmas. It is really tricky to read and eat at the same time... Super bad habit of mine! Number 2 is a hair cut mug...  I thought it is just very funny! There are a lot of tash mugs, but why not a haircut mug? Number 3 is a window display of American Appareil in Camden... by far is my most favorite thing I have seen in recent weeks... very Gothic and dark, yet fascinating  Couldn't walk past without snapping a picture. Number 4 massive fire escape sign.... it is just soo huge!  I wouldn't seen it if I was not sat in the window of the restaurant...   Number 5 is a goat's behind...  Sometime is not the object but the angle one's lookin...

We actually got to spend some time together...

Image
Well we were supposed to have this week together but at the very last moment hubby's second week holiday been cancelled.... But we went to eat some lovely Japanese food in Ichiban... by the way it is one amazing Japanese restaurant on Cowbridge Road in Cardiff!  I had some dead cold delicious fish and we shared some sake... Mad! It was a lovely evening! Well and it was raining loads!! We had that awesome Sunday lunch together, then we saw Felix do that jump! Then we went to see super tall and funny man Greg Davies. Back of his mum's head was very funny, unless you are a bonsai tree (go see it, he is funny!!)!  I can say that he is my favorite comedian at the moment!  And all I want is the picture next to him... Him being all tall and me being... well super short!! It would be so funny! My friend Andrew actually met the guy and says he is super nice. We also tried to shop for a suit... luckily he went with other boys from wo...
