Very Small Feet

It's super hard to fit anything around looking after one very active baby boy! But I do manage... You have seen my awesome decoupage bowl...  This time my craft project was long coming....  Have a small canvas some paint buttons and a bit of time... Here is the result! Think it came out rather fun.... And not at all like a colour blindness test! Remember these?  Now just to finish Edgar's room and than hang this in there... This will also mean that he will stop sleeping in our bedroom and sometimes next to me... Scary notion! But he will be 8 months in less than two weeks. P.S. Actually looking at it more and more this art need some more work! Stay tuned

So after the longest journey ever I finally got there.... Place where I get to do as little as possible be fed, given booze, treatments and treats! How funny is that shot glass?! And no I did not drink any vodka! I do not do vodka, unless it is in the cocktail. Did things I haven't done in a while... such as been bitten by bunch of mosquitoes and other evil insects! That's country life for you I guess...I also got to pick the veggies from the beds and eat them!! Went for a swim in the lake and in the river. Do not think I ever swam in the river before. It was a rather surreal experience... You swim against the current but the current is so strong that seems that you do not move at all...  I finally saw the place my parents are building. Going to be mahooosive.  And we also went mushroom picking... I haven't been since I was 14 or something like that. I also spend some quality time with some amazing people and animals... I ...

So as you know I m not working much so I am wondering around a lot... I wondered so much around that I got my self into 3 jobs interviews, one is a no, another is a yes and just waiting for an answer. Yeah, I do want the last one to yes, come work for us.... So you know I can get more shoes! I also booked holidays to go home! I cannot actually wait. I haven't been in Russia for 2 years not and planning to have so much fun there... the downside it is still a 24hr travel day there. I will be leaving sunny Brum at 4am on the 1st August and getting to my home town just after 5am on 2nd August. Crazy right. A lot of time traveling to be done, 5 hour difference it is not a joke people! But for now I am just enjoying my self as much as I can... I put some of our pictures in the house today. So it feels more like a home rather than a house. I just cannot stand bare walls, yes I know this is very very strange.  I'm spending my time going to the gym... Got to lose ...

Well we were supposed to have this week together but at the very last moment hubby's second week holiday been cancelled.... But we went to eat some lovely Japanese food in Ichiban... by the way it is one amazing Japanese restaurant on Cowbridge Road in Cardiff!  I had some dead cold delicious fish and we shared some sake... Mad! It was a lovely evening! Well and it was raining loads!! We had that awesome Sunday lunch together, then we saw Felix do that jump! Then we went to see super tall and funny man Greg Davies. Back of his mum's head was very funny, unless you are a bonsai tree (go see it, he is funny!!)!  I can say that he is my favorite comedian at the moment!  And all I want is the picture next to him... Him being all tall and me being... well super short!! It would be so funny! My friend Andrew actually met the guy and says he is super nice. We also tried to shop for a suit... luckily he went with other boys from wo...

Nothing makes a girl feel more empowered then do the race for life (yes yes I sound a bit like crazy person)... well its kind of my thing. That's how I got the running bug too!!  As you know I did the 10K this Saturday... Weather was terrible! There were lots of ladies in pink, kiddies in pink, husbands in pink and even some dogs were dressed in tutus. I thought the dogs looked adorable but husband said that Alsatian in tutu and with feathered pink boa is degrading and taking away animal's dignity... Oh if only I could I would dress up out bunny Daisy and rats too! We didn't start till 20min past start time... and we all were soaked. It was raining.... grass was slippery... danger everywhere! Organisation didn't impress really... It was very upsetting. But there were happy cheery supporters with banners and tiny runners were trying to keep up with the girls! Well...I did it! and actually managed to do it in one hour ...

It was busy few days... Hubby's birthday went well, and he got new specs from me and his mother. So he can see again!! We spent our last day off together making a house a home. We have not finished yet, he still has his clothes to sort out and I have a wall stickers to put on... Also selves, pictures... And we need to get rid off couple of chairs, my desk... There are also few DIY projects are in place, so stay tuned! Last night I went out to see my friends for old work. Oh we had fun! Face hurts from giggling..  And Dessy gave me these lovelies She said I can wear them to work! We also might be going to see Andrew at his work this Saturday to see Shola Ama... Remember her? Also Saturday is my 10K race. I cannot wait. Have a new pink Tee and going to do my back sing... Race for life is truly is amazing event, all the girls come together. My brother in law Martin called me one evening to share his master plan. His girlfriend Mel was about to have birthday and he was going to do a surprise party. I am to be a bartender... they love cocktails but unsure how to make them... It was a bit of a challenge, since I do like stronger cocktails and with basil in them! Oh basil bramble sling we haven't met for so long now! So we had Cosmpolitain, Swhisky, Woo Woo, Black Russian and Screaming Orgasm... I think party was a success! Mel was shocked when the lights went on and bunch of people shouted "Surprise!" As a present to Mel Martin took her to New York for a week. What a nice present, isn't it! I will be posting the cocktails recipes in a while, so stay tuned and be ready for your own party!

I know I know... it has been so long! I got a new exciting job... Me and hubby are actually working together. I am host and seater and he is still in the kitchen doing the magic! From this day I promise to blog twice a week... Actually have so many ideas!!! Stay tuned
