I really felt all the Mirabel was feeling as in never being good enough for her abuela. Hit me right in the feels but then we were shown the story of abuela Alma…. And then I thought of people feeling Afghanistan last year …. And tears and tears run down my face…. And that abuala was actually recovering from trauma….  However like that picture of little Afghan girl skipping in airport in Belgium, this film is happy.   Gift is not magic gifts but gifts are family, people who you love. I love cinema. Think I always did.  When I was teen or in my early 20s I was more of art house, subtitled, strange movies kind of a gal. I enjoyed these films but I do not think I understood or actually remember them much, I think I just liked what people around me liked. Or maybe I was just pretentious... however I would alway try to see the film in original language. It just makes sense, movies are dubbed in artistic kind of way. And a lot get be lost in translation.  For example last summer I went with my cousin to see Jurassic Wolrd back home in Russia. Film was in Russian. But I could spot a joke that was supposed to be there it sometimes they just didn't work in Russian.  French films I love for their wackiness and just pure joy, think Amelie or Taxi (not the remake please, the original ones with Samuel Naseri and Frederick Diefenthal).    But now I just watch films that bring me joy. December is here. Busy month usually stress to get everything done ready and organise. Try to do this with the toddler, I challenge you to toddler off... oh no I don't want our kids to fight I want us to achieve as much as possible...  and its also my birthday month. Yeah last bit sucks... (made this one. Pre-cut joyful kit form Prima magazine) So December arrived on Thursday. And we have been busy ever since. Thursday we went to see the family in Talbot Green. Fab time. Friday came like a blur with trip to nursery for the little man and me doing all the usual house things... then on Saturday our nursery hosted the Christmas event to raise some money for charity and for everyone to get into the spirit of it all. It was lovely. I didn't want to go at 1st, the start time was interfering with lunch time. But then it was a gathering rater then an activity. We all have hobbies, good or bad, usual and not so much. Apart from many things I love doing I’m huge fan of cinema… If you have been reading this blog then you would know that I do go to cinema a lot. Having cineworld helped not to leave me broke, especially since I have been to see Hobbit 4 times! But now in the new place, I was terribly disappointed to find out that the nearest Cinewolrd is in Bristol. Odeon is my new home… Now we have a budget for me to indulge in my love for cinema. Yay! Love my considerate hubby… There are so many films I really look forward to see…  Beautiful Creatures (either would love or hate it, but willing to give it a chance), 7th Son (Ben Barns!Yay!), movie 43.....  and my list goes on and on!
