Very Small Feet

When I was in my 1st trimester of pregnancy all I wanted was chillies, curries and spicy food.  That fun period in life affirmed my love for kimchi . You know it is that totally delicious Korean food that they cannot leave without. Koreans even had it developed as food in space so the Korean astronauts won't miss it during the long missions! Now that a cult food! But where to get it so the spiciness won't blow my head off.... For some reason I have this thought in my head that I won't be able to fit the pram in the Asian shop around where we are so I never went looking for it. But luck will have it there is a simpler recipe in Hemsley and Hemsley book Art of Eating Well. So husband been foraging for Chinese cabbage and fish sauce. I came home from work one day, it was just gone 11pm to find my other half still pottering around in the garden! Madness right? I work out to unwind, gosh how I miss running! and Steve he gardens.  Our current garden is more manageable and has more sun, which is amazing for me, since I adore the sun and the warms but not so great for his pale Welsh complexion. We have flowers, some grown from bulbs, "shake'n'rake" boxes and some ready bought. I couldn't really help out  much since every time I crouch down to dig or plant I would be tilting forward since my belly is so big now. It has been a really long time since we had a garden.  When we were looking for a place here in Birmingham one of major requirement we had was to have a garden. These Marigolds are huge now! It is actually super fun to plant stuff and watch it grow... would be better if Daisy did not like to eat the plants and neighbors cat didn't like to do its dirty business between geraniums! But it is beautiful!  I find it rather peaceful to weed it.... and enjoy watching tomato plants growing tomatoes, aubergines getting into the bloom and munching the strawberries off the plant.  Two problems, noisy neighbors and not enough sunshine. The last I guess the whole of UK problem. There are a lot of flowers on aubergines, I guess we will be eating a lot of them soon!
