As I say in previous post I have things to review…. And in spirit of holidays I think I should talk about advent calendars we got this year for the big boy and myself.  I got the hemline one, I got it I think like half price from Amazon.  It was but some stuff was a bit …. Meh I guess will be a good way of describing it. I don’t think I will use 2 needles threaders…. That are exactly the same but one is black and another is white. Overall it was pleasant opening each day and some things are super useful in my crafting and I definitely saved money of getting the tools but if I would pay full price and for two kinds of pins and non of them these these pretty ones with flat flower heads I would have been disappointed.  The big boy had a fun cars advent. But he doesn’t get a concept of advent and opening something each day… and we have had an advent accident.  This one was pretty good. Cars, bits for cars, festive things like snowman, reindeer and so on. And it was plast...

Few weeks ago I felt a bit burnt out. I am doing very thing for everyone and not much for my self.  I felt angry and sad and super tired. I am actually a bit tired.  So I have signed up for Glossy Box to cheer my self up. I looked into other boxes for months... like a Japanese snacks, or one from awesome mama entrepreneur. But the postage from US is well... so unnecessary expensive!  Then I look at Boxciment and a healthy food/snack...  But somehow I just ended up with Glossy for 3 month.  Well it arrived! And I loved it!  It had hair treatment, sponge thingy, brow gel, lip liner,  antibacterial wipes and a bubbling sheet mask. Box’s theme is back to school, so it makes sense.  So it really fits into my coming out of the rut promise to my self. I have tired to use most of the products. I love clothes and fashion... I love stuff and things makes me happy. I used to have so many shoes.... and some of them I haven't even worn before... and ever.  I still have few shoes that I can't wear anymore since I had my son. My feet changed, just as much as my body did. I am still tiny size 2,5 to 3 (35-36 European) but now I also have wide feet.    Yeap my feet got fat! And some of my old shoes are no good anymore. Damn! So I still fit into my wedding shoes? Will have to check this later.  But as I got older I am trying to be more mindful of things I own. Sadly I would still get my things at cheap highstreet chains but I am getting less. I do not need tons of dresses and tees...  I came to realise that I wear only certain things. If before I would wear dressed and would never wear shorts, now I mainly wear shorts, jeans and tees ... best gear to chase the toddler around. I used to love making stuff. When I was in school back in Russia we all made "friendship bracelets" all the girls had them. Sometimes up to an elbow. Mainly from beads but also once I have learnt my basic macrame knots I taught all the girls around me. Oh and you wear them till they broke. Yeah not very hygienic ... eek. My hobby was indulged by parents and relatives who were giving me books, taking me to haberdashery to stock up on beads. Mind you it wasn't as well developed as now, coming across clasps, earring hooks was impossible, but we recycled old granny's stuff and reuse everything. Thinking of it my mother might still have most of my beads and books in the flat. I also made clothes, mainly skirts, since they were easy, I customized existing outfits. There was a talk in school to ban me from wearing certain things but that never came to be. All this cam from wanting to be unlike everyone else. We are preparing for our holidays in Mother Russia. This means that Edgar needs to get a visa ... So is his Dada and Grammy. And it's a hassle! And I actually had to go to London...  But at least I got to see this cute chap!    And for the 1st time Edgar stayed with Grammy for such a long time. Everyone was  happy. I was actually worried that he would grouch too much but they had a great day together. I on the other hand had a slightly stressful day. I was worried about application form, that I've forgotten stuff and that Egg is driving Grammy up the wall crying and kicking off...  Well everything was rather good. So now we are busy preparing for Babushka's arrival and our trip over there. 

Some days are better than others.... and if the sun shines!! Me and Egg went to the baby group, which was more that a toddler group and one mum was actually great to chat to. Think we might be back... Same day we had beautiful sunshine! And his passport has arrived!! This means we can see babushka and dedushka in Russia. And I can just pass Edgar to them and roll back to sleep... also chap massages.... and other pleasantries. And then we had fun in the sun!! Eggy went on the swings for the 1st time ever and seem to really like it to our mutual delight... With baby's soft skin one can never be to careful poor boy had to be covered in sunscreen...  However we cannot travel on Daddy's shoulders just yet. But not long now we think.

Don't you just love this gorgeous sunshine we have this week! So wonderful! Me and little man spend so little time at home, always in the park or meeting friend or just waking around enjoying vitamin D. Well me more then him. We caught up with Rhian. Went for afternoon tea at Pettirgrew Tearoom  to start with. And what a lovely, they even offer scones with fruit or without.                           Gorgeous home-made cakes, beautiful sandwiches and the cutest vintage china... Just so good... and in the sun in the Bute Park. I love this about Cardiff, you get this nature on your doorstep and in the city centre. Also so some sort of bird muching a fish out of the river... and yes once again in the city centre. Also check out these beautiful photos Rhian took of little man and me....  I love the sunshine!! 

I went to see Home... The trailer for it looked ever so cute. Dancing alien, dancing purple alien!!! I didn't really pay much attention to the trailer to be perfectly honest and did not know much about the film. I was pleased that they didn't put every funny moment into the trailer. However it took me forever to pinpoint the voices...  Jim Parsons is fab and most people knows him as Sheldon Cooper. I love The Big Bang, even Milky Boy has a Bazzinga onesie. However his O character seems rather like Sheldon Cooper... but alien! I understand that the alien is written this way, but in a way seems that Mr Parsons been cast for his fame is Sheldon! But saying that I know that kids never seen BBT would enjoy Home!  Watching the movie all I could think of is why is there so much Rhianna songs... Then it hit me. Oh she is doing the voice for Tip. Don't know what the writer of this firm smoked to name his leading character Gratuity!!!  Yeah, I don't care for Rhian...

I love these guys... always wanted one as a pet...  Look how cute are they!!!

So as you know I m not working much so I am wondering around a lot... I wondered so much around that I got my self into 3 jobs interviews, one is a no, another is a yes and just waiting for an answer. Yeah, I do want the last one to yes, come work for us.... So you know I can get more shoes! I also booked holidays to go home! I cannot actually wait. I haven't been in Russia for 2 years not and planning to have so much fun there... the downside it is still a 24hr travel day there. I will be leaving sunny Brum at 4am on the 1st August and getting to my home town just after 5am on 2nd August. Crazy right. A lot of time traveling to be done, 5 hour difference it is not a joke people! But for now I am just enjoying my self as much as I can... I put some of our pictures in the house today. So it feels more like a home rather than a house. I just cannot stand bare walls, yes I know this is very very strange.  I'm spending my time going to the gym... Got to lose ...

I was talking about tattoos with Sarah... a lot recently. Reading this my mother will get upset, keep reading! I love you!  Here is something I really like... cute rats... I am still very sad about our little dudettes passing...However these designs aren't really my style. Sailor moon... Oh how I love this cartoon:) These are really cute!    White rabbit... yes, Alice, follow that bunny down the rabbit hole...  I absolutely adore the idea of having mad hatters partner in crime tattooed. Well we are all mad here after all! And I though this is very cute....  So I am thinking and saving money... Sorry mom, but you can already get used to it, yes I have a tongue bar and also have couple tattoos... and I am more then likely to get some more.
