Very Small Feet

I looked throw my emails and it was the 5th year me doing it by myself. In 2010 I did it with a coworker. It is rather special race for me since it is the one I have started running. I wasn't going to run it this year but one of the girls from the club was doing it and I though oh why not!  It was super busy. Super muggy. I have lost my bib prior to the race, fail! And Edgar being a truly annoying little monkey got up at dawn. Like at 4am!  But I have pulled my self together had a two hour nap before scoffing down food and making a run for the admin tent. Lucky they told me to come in early, by 10.20 they queue was so long I would have lost the will to anything!!  This year I was surprised to see a lot of young children participating. Yesterday was a good day! Firstly we managed to nap for decent amount of time (read more than 40min). Then I discovered that Amber  necklace   for little one has arrived. We are giving it a try, it won't make things worst. It's super cute and from Baltic source, I got it from Etsy .  (and Edgar had some jelly... it also was amazing!) Out pool adventures have improved. I guess it has something to do won't is being on holidays for such a long time and haven't attended the swimming classes that Egg Man decided he doe t like it much... But slowly we are improving!  And then in the park we met Emily and her Russian mum Kate! It's so cool to meet some one just out of the blue and I think we will get along well!  As I mentioned previously mothers need other mothers... Not only to keep us  being alto to communicate to other adults but to keep us sane...  Oh and I won some tea from Pukka teas!

well actually few of these... I love love the property programs and am a fan of Kirstie Allsopp .  Think she is so awesome! She is very inspiring, didn't she made entire nation craft in last few years? But also she is funny, intelligent  and feminist. I also love George... You know the restoration man George. We once watched tons of his other programme. Think about 4 or 5 hours....mad! Then I adore vintage shopping... I don't like the mass produce things, but I cannot afford anything else really so looking for one of the kind vintage pieces are the solution. If I could live in Beyond Retro in London I so would! Besides vintage shoes fit my very small feet better!  And my other confession is that I am a moonie. Apparently it is a thing. That's what you would call Sailor Moon fans. I have been one for years really.... Since I have been little. Now we are re watching it with my little man, well he actually doesn't care much. ...

Hubby told me about this "food fair" at Chapter Art Centre . And being super busy as per usual I totally forgot about this... Imagine my surprise when I got the text "bunch of little stalls you would love it! Oh and can you bring an apron"... The event was called the Art Car Bootique to celebrate 100 years of WI. Amazing!! So off we went to the Chapter. We lived in Canton and Riverside for years, yet I never been to Chapter. Fail on my part I think, looks like an amazing place. There were soo many people about. Great atmosphere, people, puppies, prams and baby carriers everywhere. I so wish Edgar would still be small enough to be carried around. But we had a cuddle and wonder in the arms so he could look around properly.  And thing we saw! Lots of stalls and people! Handmade and unique things! People making art by cycling! Swan trailer... Perks of working for a large hotel chain is that you can stay somewhere nice for cheap!:) Yay! We stayed in lovely 4* in Kensington area of London.  Shame about the weather really, our event we went to was in Kensington Roof Gardens .  One amazing location.... Really really stunning, but rain and cold and wind really interfere with the party....  But first things first... I went to V&A. I like taking bump into museums, makes me feel all super mummy worried about eduction of my mini me from the very start... or, some of you might think I'm just crazy!  One of few things I miss about living in London is the museums!!  Main reason to go to V&A was to see The Glamour Of Italian Fashion exhibit.... Many reasons to see that, Elizabeth Taylor jewels from Bvlgari, Gucci vintage, Italian Glamour.... Remember last year I went to see my friend Nora to climb the wall? Well I was so inspired by these awesome people  that I have singed up myself. The event was the next day after our holidays.... Now I can say it was the best end of holidays ever, but a day before I was terrified. ... It was so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also had a most amazing team of people supporting me and being my paparazzi. Once again big big thank you goes to Owen, Sarah and Mel.  But my dear hubby had to go home since he was working that day. Sad face. But I believe guys kept him updated. The race was divided into waves and I was in sensible wave 5 which started at 11am.... I did not think how high everything will be and how very short I actually am. That was until I say these stacks of hay. Oh dear me, it was hard, but I managed without a boost or anything. We climb over, jumped over and climbed under, slid on our bellies and went into the river... I fel...

So after the longest journey ever I finally got there.... Place where I get to do as little as possible be fed, given booze, treatments and treats! How funny is that shot glass?! And no I did not drink any vodka! I do not do vodka, unless it is in the cocktail. Did things I haven't done in a while... such as been bitten by bunch of mosquitoes and other evil insects! That's country life for you I guess...I also got to pick the veggies from the beds and eat them!! Went for a swim in the lake and in the river. Do not think I ever swam in the river before. It was a rather surreal experience... You swim against the current but the current is so strong that seems that you do not move at all...  I finally saw the place my parents are building. Going to be mahooosive.  And we also went mushroom picking... I haven't been since I was 14 or something like that. I also spend some quality time with some amazing people and animals... I ...

Well we finally made it to Wales, for an amazing Six Nations. What a game. Cardiff was buzzing more then usual. Weather was horrid but people were so happy and excited...  And then Wales won....  The whole pub we were in exploded with excitement and joy! It has been a while since we both had a match day off... People were everywhere... There were queues to get to the pubs... not a very nice pubs either, everyone just wanted to celebrate Wales' victory.... Next day we woke up to this picture... Spot the Welshman!  Well done Wales!! It was a great weekend!
