Eco friendly pregnancy and baby. How I got along

Image
I really embraced second hand fashion last year. Especially since my body went thought this incredible change of growing the baby so it seems somehow wasteful to get new clothes just for a short period of time...  How cute is this Zara dress I picked up from my favourite charity shop for like £3.50 Draped nicely over the bump and will be great when I will stop wearing just comfies!  I kept most of my maternity clothes from when I was pregnant with Edgar, like that strippy dress. Which is actually not maternity but just fits nicely over the bump. And some of my not bump clothes just stretched, like that blue dress or embroidered shirt. I did buy a preloved bundle of maternity jeans and shorted them and wore and wore them. I still do as my regular stuff is till up in the attic. So all and all I did buy some pants, well bump was very big and my regular undies were so uncomfortable... also 2 pairs of breastfeeding pjs, and a coat. The coat I am still wearing as it “grows” with the...

We are at the half term

Image
So we made it to school's half term! In UK kids go to preschool and then school from about age of 3.  Egg just turned 4 and having him all day at school was terrifying. He is too little, too not talking and finds it hard around other children... or so I thought! It has been just few weeks in big school and he already has a best friend Amelia. We didn't know her before. When she was ill he missed her and when she did return after two days he run up to give her a hug and knocked and him self down.  He also has other friends and interacts brilliantly with them. Other kind find his speech therapy interesting and help him with these.   All ready for elements in daddy’s hat  He loves the after-school club he goes to, I mean I would as well, it's just bunch of kids all ages from school playing together and Egg been always curious about big kids. The gentleman in change of the club says its very interesting to see how big kids take care of the little ones ...

belly

Belly is big. I mean my preggers trousers are like super tight on the bump which is not ideal.... So few other interesting things I have discovered about being pregnant, I can probably write a book about this awesome and terrifying experience.  Even if anyone tells you that pregnancy clothes are cute now.. well they are...they will cost you a fortune so I was determined to stay on low budget as possible. It doesn't however help that everything is tight, and actual clothes that still fit... well some one always who will tell you "oh you know her, well her clothes stretched and she couldn't wear them after the baby".... And then there is of course your loved ones tell you "oh get maternity clothes coz you are so uncomfortable"... And... Yet nothing fits! I'm too short for conventional maternity clothes.... This is a top... A very very ugly top. I mean what on earth are they expecting that short women will not have babies? So I m sticking ...
