I was reluctant… but now I have minecraft world

Image
Maybe a year ago or maybe longer time runs differently with one thing and another … and well with a newborn, so my Facebook memory piped up saying that 10 years ago hubby started to play minecraft.  And all this time it’s been on and off in our life. And it’s a nice kind of game, creative, and no violence. There are beasties and such but not like say call of duty or what not…  And husband got so excited that I wanted to give it a play that he even told our coworkers… so I pretty much had to play.  As a non gamer I like to go explore… but I have expert at my side. So now I have a photo with coordinates of my base…. I get lost a lot! But it’s nice to learn something totally trivial and have this time to myself. Especially now that I cannot sew at the moment, and more on that later.  Also new games are incredibly detailed. And husband was always on the mission to get me involved. I would watch him play but not always…  so he got me starting a Star Wars game. The an...

Managed to watch bunch of films...

I have been catching up on some movie time. So when I would go out to cinema I would try to watch couple of films. And different films.  So lately I saw: Victoria and Abdul  I liked it. Interesting story based on real events. Dame Judy is truly a national treasure!  Wind River.  Again a good story, well told. Like the end screenshot I didn’t realised that there is no statistics for missing Native American women... truly heart breaking. However the main hero is a straight white man seems a bit problematic in this story. But good film. However since it seems so real I do not want to see it again.  Home Again.  I enjoyed it. It was lighthearted rom com. Some people don’t see the end to the story but it is similar to under the Tuscan Sun it’s an emotional denial journey. But of course it is not Under the Tuscan Sun.  Flatliners.  I really don’t know how I feel about this film. It was a bit meh... Diego Luna with no shirt on that I enjoyed. The rest of...

British Films

The easiest thing for me to do is to run away to the cinema. I love it. I have an unlimited card, I pay monthly fee and go to the cinema as much as I want. Even if it is too see the same film, yeah thinking about Rogue One. Gosh I loved that one so much! But somehow lately I have managed to see mainly, British films. And these films couldn't be more different.  First one I saw was Free Fire.   Oh my how different the story is... and it appears that everyone shoot like a storm trooper...badly. Basically a story about the shoot out and how things can escalate very quickly. This film is also very funny. Like super funny. Shame it wasn't in the cinema for too long.  Another film that was in the cinema just for a week is City Of Tiny Lights   This film is actually adoptation of Patrick Neate's novel with the same title. Sort of a detective story, and a book I think I would rather enjoy... but my reading is mainly consists of Julia Donaldson and other wonderful kiddie writ...

It was really busy few weeks... We all over worked at work... And finally Sarah came to visit! And she can move her arm:) So we went shopping... wining and dining.... Also breakfast making, coffee drinking and bitching about things! How funny is my named spelled?! :) Cuteness from Tricia.  It is nice to know that I am still part of the team and I got lots and lots of hello and hug of people at my old office. Also an offer of my job back, but with no job in January... Oh well!!  Also it is really hard to find a coat for me... So I've ended up after 2 days of searching with a beautiful navy number from Mango in a sexy military style. And we were celebrating Sarah's Broth day.... Yes I said a broth day, my phone auto corrected it! Crazy right:) I hope she had a good birthday with us... But no one embarrassed Sarah to no end by singing Happy Birthday. I was so counting on it! Yes, I am evil some times. And then we went to see Travis.... Oh...

making most of it

I do not work as much as I should only about 15-19 hours a week so it leaves me with a lot of time to my self. So what do it do with all this free time... I have learnt how to plant stuff and I spend a lot of time with pets. Daisy really loves it in the big house to run around but hates the slippery floors. It is very amusing to watch her slide across it. She sure loves the garden. She actually dug some holes there and did a roll once, she never rolled around before, don't think bunnies are designed that way. But mainly I go to the gym and cinema... Gym is a must with race being very tough one and very very soon this September I need to push myself a bit more. I am mainly doing classes actually, what is a new thing to me but it seems to be working really well for me! Cinema... Oh cinema!! I just came back actually from seeing The East and I saw Man Of Steel. Two very different films but equally amazing.  Man of Steel is a massive budget blockbuster .... with no...
