Very Small Feet

I don’t remember us getting excited at 2010 and shouting ah new decade! But then again the social media wasn’t what it is now and well ... we just weren’t us then.  I didn’t actually realised that I didn’t blog in December at all but it was a very stressful month with work, school and life.... We both even work New Year’s Eve. Which isn’t unusual but it is unusual since we had to drop off the offspring to grandparents and such... and then we did realised that we didn’t spend much time together at all.  So in 2020 we are very much hoping to change that.  In other things I m doing good with my zero waste swaps, stop cutting my self with a razor! Egg is thriving in school and we did get official diagnosis for him. Many doors have opened to get help.  (And boy, he loves glitter and school so much) Steve is a naturally very stubborn and can run half marathon in under 2 hours which is truly amazing!  I run that race in the worst conditions ever and didn’t melt or died...

Feeling? Guilt? Promise...  I just saw that didn’t blog all summer holidays, or you there about.  Summer is about juggling, more juggling than usual.  It’s hard when your field of work is shift patterns and so is your partners. So when one of us at work another with Egg, and vice versa. Literary no alone time, I miss that. And Egg and I were in Russia for 3 weeks!  It was nice to see most of the family. It was nice not to stress about work, not that I stress much but still the pressure to perform is there. And it’s nice to cook for my mother, she eats everything and praises me every time.  So few things have happened.  My less waste journey been a bit stressful due sidelong haveing rashes and allergic reactions. So I’m back to use regular shampoos and deodorants. I have decided to cut down on drinking and inpove my overall fitness and health. And save money, there is an app for it. Did you know? 2013 was really eventful for us and a very busy year... we moved 2 times and not just around one city but we moved from Cardiff to Bath and then from Bath to Birmingham. And at the moment we are on the look out for a new place, not in another city thanks god! We had a lovely family Christmas, Steve cooked I provided the entertainment by falling asleep, chasing the pets around and doing dishes.  We actually had a Christmas part II just this week when we went to see the family in Wales. Great time was had:) lots of food and laughs... actually I think I worked my abs coz I was laughing that much!! Wish all the holidays were like this. I have only few goals for this year... Stay healthy, run another half marathon and just be happy. I know that sounds a bit hippy-ish but hey I can do amazing things when I put my head to it! think this picture is an excellent example of "when I put my head to it". So as you know I m not working much so I am wondering around a lot... I wondered so much around that I got my self into 3 jobs interviews, one is a no, another is a yes and just waiting for an answer. Yeah, I do want the last one to yes, come work for us.... So you know I can get more shoes! I also booked holidays to go home! I cannot actually wait. I haven't been in Russia for 2 years not and planning to have so much fun there... the downside it is still a 24hr travel day there. I will be leaving sunny Brum at 4am on the 1st August and getting to my home town just after 5am on 2nd August. Crazy right. A lot of time traveling to be done, 5 hour difference it is not a joke people! But for now I am just enjoying my self as much as I can... I put some of our pictures in the house today. So it feels more like a home rather than a house. I just cannot stand bare walls, yes I know this is very very strange.  I'm spending my time going to the gym... Got to lose ...

Things I love lately...  Being Human... the UK version. Great cast, great new cast, great writers.  Dialogue is just amazing. Like writing sex! Haven't seen it? You are missing out. Oh and these vampires do not shine like diamonds! And all actors are young talented and beautiful  also they filmed last seasons in Cardiff! How about this final scene on St Mary's street. My vintage army jacket I got in Manchester... Cannot stop wearing it... also there is not spring here. Have to wear something, so why not this military beauty. Shoes... especially today. Went to TKMaxx today just to try some on... might have to come back to buy some tomorrow. All of the things I've tried were Diesel and so sexy and comfy! Love shoes... very small shoes, that is.
