Lockdown 2.0

Image
Here is a photo of my cat with her tongue out.  Wales is in lockdown 2.0 and well I feel all the feelings. We are lucky that hubby is on furlough, that schools will reopen after half term for us, so little one will not miss it! But it still is scary. We don’t know if it will last as long as 2 weeks or will it be more.  I guess it’s ok to feel uncertain and scared sometimes. At least in spring summer lockdown it was nice weather and lots of vitamin D that does affect the mood.  Also I am in 3rd trimester of pregnancy and it’s also not clear. If hubby can come. When will he be able to come with me. Will I have to be alone? Or who would watch the big boy?  And all this silliness with only essential items in supermarkets. I get that it’s fairer I guess but what about people who don’t have access to internet to order a book or new duvet?  Oh you get it. It’s strange and scary but we are going to be ok right? So let’s just be nice to each other, wash hands, stay 2 met...

Euro 2016 Stronger Together

Sporting events... These are usually fun I guess. But still I prefer figure skating to football. And would only watch rugby if Wales are playing.  But the awesome news of Wales qualifying for Euros and actually playing is truly great!!  My dad was watching Wales play in Russia and sang in the middle of the night when they won the 1st game. And was rather upset but yet excited when Wales kicked Russia's butt.  And we even made it to fan zone in Millennium Stadium in Cardiff (yes, I am aware it is called Principality Staduim, I won't call it that).  Well the fan zone was something else... And I guess it's cool that we went. But given an option again I think I speak for all 4 of us we won't go again. Small screens, drunk so called supporters, paper air-planes... Well I guess a lot of people just wanted to party. Which is cool but when a lot of people started to leave before the game ended... That's just bad form. Oh I am talking about ...

so much to blog but 1st things 1st

Hello! Happy New Year and such. I know its has been absolute ages since I have blogged... well we have moved again! And it was a complicated one. We never had such trouble with renting a place, no offence to anyone but estate agents in Rhondda are s%$t. Actually shocking! But it worked out for the best. Hubby got a new exciting job in Cardiff so we packed our bags and moved. Plan was to move near to Stephen's parents, that fell throw at the very last moment. Amateurs at The Landlords lettings in Talbot Green. Yes, I am naming names! Then I looked at a cute bijoux new build in Pontyclun but the owners had to think about the extra on the bond because of Molly Cat. Then they never rung, so I called back been told that they are showing the house to "some one else just to be fair".... I thought I was renting not buying. Oh well Watts & Morgan estate agent could have that property rented since December but it is still on the market. And we actually got a cute mais...

so more changes...

We actually been to Wales to enjoy the local food, drink and company of bunch of our old Welsh and not so Welsh friends! The simple reason was the lovely lovely Sarah Smith  There she is trying to climb the bale with one good arm! Silly girl:) Sarah is off on the big adventure, she just moved and started new job in Singapore!  We all will and aready miss her, but it is all for the better, besides now we have place to crush when in Asia! It is always going to get messy when one is out and about on St Paddy's day. We all had a hat... And some hat two, Jessica!! Karaoke, music, lots and lots of soda water for me.... Oh fun was had by all. More by me looking at all the hangover faces. It has been very strange to sing karaoke (or trying to avoid it) when sober. We left the gang coz the bump got tired and really needed a sleep.... But as far as I know dancing had continued into the wee hours of the morning, fallowing by two epi...

this weekend in Wales

Well we finally made it to Wales, for an amazing Six Nations. What a game. Cardiff was buzzing more then usual. Weather was horrid but people were so happy and excited...  And then Wales won....  The whole pub we were in exploded with excitement and joy! It has been a while since we both had a match day off... People were everywhere... There were queues to get to the pubs... not a very nice pubs either, everyone just wanted to celebrate Wales' victory.... Next day we woke up to this picture... Spot the Welshman!  Well done Wales!! It was a great weekend!

I will miss you Cardiff...

I have been living in Cardiff for almost 7 years... I came here not knowing anyone or anything about the place... All I could tell from my visit for an interview, people are friendly... Little did I know that I would stay here for so long or that I would meet my husband here! Lots of other amazing poeple ... who I do miss... But hey, I guess we are only a train journey away...  Oh girls! Come visit me soon...  Cardiff will always be a special place for me! And how beautiful Welsh capital is!! But I do prefer Wales in summer... with flowers everywhere... and with its wild life We actually continued our great tradition to live next to park.. this time its Victoria Park in Bath next to Royal Crescent But change is good, besides I worked almost at every hotel in Cardiff... So time to move.  Steve said that we were just too comfortable in the end, and it was great time to move....
