If you don’t live in UK you have probably seen it on the news... whole country is snowed in and actually stopped.  Schools been cancelled so is St David’s Day and World’s book day...  and it’s stay inside read a book and cuddle with pets kind of weather... unless you have to brave it and go to work like my hubby for example. Even if only for an hour... or you have a small child who turns out is a very big fan of snow!  The joy of running into the snow drift. Jumping! Picking it up and throwing high in the air!  Wonderful!  And we are properly dressed, these trousers are suitable for Russian winter acually. And speaking of Russia, don’t think Egg remembers the snow when he was in Russia. He was far too young to remember.  But I have mixed feeling about it all...  I understand that UK is unprepared to deal with snow, and that equipment is super expensive. Like we have winter tires, but it would too expensive for here. While back in motherland it’s a lega...

So I am Russian. I will be getting British passport next year so I had to get a visa to go on holidays with family to Portugal this weekend.  It's proven to be very difficult. Hard to find the website, then it was all in Portuguese. So took me absolute forever but the appointment I could get was this Tuesday when we fly on Saturday.... I really didn't think I would be making this holidays.... However.... The lady who I had interview with was very helpful and I had my passport with new shiny visa just few hours later.  To be honest all the staff in Consilate General were very helpful. Even if you had to wait for a bit but everyone were leaving very happy.  And I also had an interesting day out. I had an protein juice thing from this place... As we know juicing is in right now. Then I wondered around the shops. Couldn't really go very far.... So Antropologie fun, I just want to live in that shop. Or buy everything! So many wonderful things they h...

This week seems a bit never ending... I spent two days on the trains from and back to Birmingham. I went to Bath to tidy up the old flat... Walking from the house back to the train station I was think that this city is very beautiful and I was very miserable there. I walked passed the old work and I did not come in to say hello, I am a little be confused about this. I do miss you guys!  Then the next day I went to London to Russian Embassy to pick up my passport!! Woooo!! The journey it self was good, apart from the dude next to me who was chatting on the phone to some one for the whole time! Like an hr and a half!! Crazy! I was in a queue for my passport for one hour, this is not a great organisation I got to say... But I have it now  even if they did not spell my new married name correctly...  To celebrate and kill some time before my train back I went to Camden. Oh Camden, wish I was where earlier and had more time to look for treasures...

Longest week ever...

And not the greatest week either... I was so busy with everything... Went to London in the beginning to the week to drop off the documents at the Embassy for a new passport. Stress.... But to be honest the lady I dealt with was lovely, well my name will be misspelled in the new passport (bloody auto translation) I went for sushi and met Natasha:) This was very nice! Then it was work work work!!!! We have no staff... or we do but they do not show for the shifts... well I do not really care I just want to have bodies to work.... I miss my Cardiff ladies... To top everything we had to go to Emergency to have a new x-ray for Hubby's arm...It hasn't actually heal properly  but we have been told to chill for a week and not to lift anything really. Ice and keep it raised to take the swelling off... And the day later one of out little rats passed away.... I do not think I would want more rats... ...
