Very Small Feet

Street food circus. Silly name for a fun foodie faire.  We have been last year when it was behind Radisson in Cardiff. This year they have moved to nicer surroundings of Sophia Gardens. And this time me and my girl Viera went in the evening. Me out on Friday night?! What?! I thought I'd never see the day!  It was nice to be out in the evening!  They had a fab selection of awesome makers and cooks!  We had reclette thing. Melted wheel of cheese scraped over potatoes with some serano ham, shallots, crunchy pickles.and I don't like pickles!  Then we head over to brûlée bar! These were little pots of creamy haven, you chose from set toppings or make your own. Too much choice really!  And we washed it down with prosecco cocktail from the tiny prosecco van. I tell you what we all need one of these in our gardens! It was good fun but mainly it was nice to do this with a friend and to catch up!

Superfoods.... well I also got excited about quinoa and kale...  Although quinoa might be a bit boring. Frankly I am not very sure what to do with it but trial and error I guess.  First things first, as you know I am a big fan of Kym Non-Stop... and that girl loves kale! Here is a video to prove it. It's just too funny! I have massaged some kale... and made a fun salad. I loved it, hubby not so much.  To make my fun and healthy salad you will need Kale Smoked Mackerel Orange  Lemon Half a bulb of Fennel (medium size) Cooked and cold quinoa Some seeds for crunch Olive Oil  Salt Massage some kale with salt, lemon juice and olive oil. It will make it tender and lovely. Just watch out if you have any cuts on the hands. It'll sting!! Chop up the fennel. Peel and cup up orange. Flake the mackerel.  Now assemble this bad boy. I have layered all the ingredients starting with quinoa, kale, fennel, orange, mackere...

It was really busy few weeks... We all over worked at work... And finally Sarah came to visit! And she can move her arm:) So we went shopping... wining and dining.... Also breakfast making, coffee drinking and bitching about things! How funny is my named spelled?! :) Cuteness from Tricia.  It is nice to know that I am still part of the team and I got lots and lots of hello and hug of people at my old office. Also an offer of my job back, but with no job in January... Oh well!!  Also it is really hard to find a coat for me... So I've ended up after 2 days of searching with a beautiful navy number from Mango in a sexy military style. And we were celebrating Sarah's Broth day.... Yes I said a broth day, my phone auto corrected it! Crazy right:) I hope she had a good birthday with us... But no one embarrassed Sarah to no end by singing Happy Birthday. I was so counting on it! Yes, I am evil some times. And then we went to see Travis.... Oh...

So there is this pub in Cardiff on Cathedral road in Pontcanna... I used to tell guests in the hotel to go for food there. Our mate Dan was a head chef and everything was so amazing! So many beautiful meals there... Gastro pub at its best with an amazing Sunday roast... We even went there after we got hitched But then Dan moved on.... and the food became not that good. I hope they have found someone to bring the magic into their kitchen, but we have been looking for a new Sunday roast place for a while now. We went to many places in Cardiff to find a place... well that is if we had a Sunday off. One of the joys of working in hospitality industry. When you do eventually get a weekend off you do know what to do with your self...  So after moving to Bath we had some time off... so following the advice of Sarah we went to Aqua .
