Very Small Feet

Feeling? Guilt? Promise...  I just saw that didn’t blog all summer holidays, or you there about.  Summer is about juggling, more juggling than usual.  It’s hard when your field of work is shift patterns and so is your partners. So when one of us at work another with Egg, and vice versa. Literary no alone time, I miss that. And Egg and I were in Russia for 3 weeks!  It was nice to see most of the family. It was nice not to stress about work, not that I stress much but still the pressure to perform is there. And it’s nice to cook for my mother, she eats everything and praises me every time.  So few things have happened.  My less waste journey been a bit stressful due sidelong haveing rashes and allergic reactions. So I’m back to use regular shampoos and deodorants. I have decided to cut down on drinking and inpove my overall fitness and health. And save money, there is an app for it. Did you know? Mama's life is hard and it's very hard to find quiet time. I miss just sitting down and maybe crafting or just chilling, or having friends over or just a bath...  Now with Big Guy all these things need to planning ahead. Yes I have to plan time in the bath. It's this intense. But I do get some quiet time every so often, when Edgar naps... I listen to podcast. Yes my regular favourites like Kermode and Mayo, No Such Thing as the Fish, Answer me this and Scummy Mummies.  But I have discovered the new ones recently and I want you to have a have a listen to... so here it goes. Today Egg decided to mushed banana into his face.... while the banana was still in the bowl. It was just too cute! He is learning new things, like cuddling, eating new things, chewing things properly and chasing after mama. That is super hard! He runs, as fast as he can, and yells at the closed door or at the blocked stairs. But he also forgets how to do things, if before he was waving like a mad person now he barely does this. I suppose we need to practice more... It was also a week of new things. We finally met lovely Lucia, Egg was so pleased to see another little one. When we were walking around in the restaurant we looked into the pram with a little 9 week old baby. Eggy's face was a picture, he was so pleased to looked at some one who is so small. Although he still did not master "gentle touch" he really wanted to touch Lucia but he just wanted to do the usual bashing. So that didn't happen, but she did touch him. So freaking adorable. Oh yay royal baby is a little girl. Little princess! How cute! You know how I said I still struggle a bit with my new identity in the previous post? Well I cannot call Egg "my son" he is "my baby" or "my boys" (when two of them obviously), but never my son... Strange right. Oh if you are a mum or about to become one, I highly recommend One Bad Mother podcast. It's so much fun! Little man is doing great, eat sleeps and poops. He gets super excited when he sees the pool and splashes with both arms and legs now. Swimming lessons are more fun every time. However he is way too interested in the edges of the pool and how they feel.  And now also he is on the move. Crawls and pulls him self up to walk or stand around....
