It begins with absence and desire...

“It begins with blood and fear. It begins with a discovery of witches” .... Just in time for Halloween I guess and this time of the year when all the witches and ghouls are out and about the sky one (subscription tv service) launched the show called A Discovery Of Witches.  If you live in UK you must have seen posters or actual adverts of it. I saw the little special and it looked good to me. I love me a good supernatural story and a good love story.  And if that above has Matthew Goode and Theresa Palmer at its head count me in. Besides I am always been a fan of supernatural series, I miss true blood dearly even if they went well a bit bananas in some seasons.  Two episodes in and I couldn’t wait to find out what will happen next will they be together will Diana’s power grow and what this Ashmole 782 all about! After researching about the author, Deborah Harkness, since there is nothing worse than badly written source material, I dived into th...

No time!

New years resolutions that no one keeps... Plans we make but never keep... Same with lists...  So technology is trying to improve us but sending us nudges and such. My runkeeper app every so often asks me to go running...  My friend Owen for last few years been set himself a reading challenge. Gosh that boy reads fast... I guess I have an excellent excuse to be a slow reader is that I do read no in my mother tongue! Yes look at me I speak 3 languages... Hahaha! I also find it hard sometimes to be motivated to sit down and read. Lay in the sun and read not to problem reading not in the sun is tricky for me. That's how I read most of books about Tempe Brennan .  I got Kindle for Christmas few years back and I love it! Love that I can read in the dark... But now I have issue with time... My little man does not let me read anything else than a kiddie book...On that note I adore Julia Donaldson 's books. You know the lady who gave us Gruffalo ...

End of An Era

It has been announced True Blood is to finish with season 7.. I think they did a great thing with the books really, well take them as a guide line but do their own thing. It is a fun show too watch with some sexy sexy actors...  Today I went to London to pick up my visa and I actually finished the last book about Sookie Stackhouse. 13 books I have been on that amazing journey. I have changed houses and even cities during this time... I think I'm over thinking it:)  Anyway, I do feel sorry for Sookie. Charaine Harris did say the truth that she did put Sookie throw a lot of horrid situations, I was reminded of all of them in the last book. It was a fun read as usual. Good ending. I guess it correlate in a way with ending of the series.  I will miss you True Blood, books and series.

I have started a new job... It took forever to find, and I would not say it is a dream job, but it's a nice full time position. It is really nice to be back in the hotels again. But I guess I still did not gave up on becoming a personal trainer. But not yet...  On that note... today I did an intensity class, it was actually so hard. I did not think that I can star jump with 5kg in each hand. God it was hard, I am actually a bit scared how I will be feeling tomorrow. But I also want to tell you about my obsession... Cassandra Clare and her Mortal Instruments books. I am obsessed! I cannot put my kindle down, work does really interfere with my reading. I am on the third book now. So as you know film is out and have been looking forward to it  and I actually already seen it twice. Thinking of it I might go see it the 3rd time. I think I actually formed an opinion about this film. I think it was the best what they could have done and actors are spot on... Ma...

Amazing evening. Best £5 spent

Image
Do you know the expression that you should always spend money on experiences and memories rather than on things... I can easily say that it was one of the best £5 I have ever spent. I love to read... and I pretty much read everything: romance, mysteries, fantasy, classics... I actually read one or two Twilight books then I decided I have better things to do than to read that trash, no offence guys, but I can write better. Charlaine Harris' books are my guilty pleasure, I was not as hooked on Harper Connolly series as much as Aurora Teagarden and of course Sookie Stackhouse. Aurora's adventures are more normal and usually I am ok if I put the book down, Sookie novels are different story. I love the characters... with True Blood series the leads are more livid in my head then before the series. I cannot wait to get tuck in to the last book but then I am also trying to postpone that. I will get sad that there would be no more books after this one...  So on the f...
