Very Small Feet

About my age. I have been saying that I am 23 or 25 for about 5 years now.  Truth is today I have turned 30.  (these beauties are from my boys) And it scares me! It's one of these scary milestones that you are not in your care free twenties and really should have achieved stuff in life... I think I just thought I will have more things to prove that I am adult.  I am married. Very serious thing to do. But we never are too serious.  We have this amazing toddler running a riot! Now that's a great thing to prove that you are an adult! But then again if I will be too serious I wouldn't be me at mumming!  We just bought a house. Now that an insanely grown-up thing to do but then again I wasn't really involved in the buying more in picking. Maybe I am over-thinking this... I won't be a stereotype they all expect form a 30 year olds...   It's my birthday today! Yay!! From becoming older I just hope to become better perso...

Babies are wierd.... They come out bright red and screaming.... and then they will be in you heart forever.  Earlier this month our little Egg turned one!  He was so small.... And now he is so much more fun and interesting.... Here is he is trying to eat or kiss his little egg toys... Too cute! We had a small get together, with barbie, fun and lots of attention for little man... so he didn't nap and was super grouchy when we took the cake out. Well he actually had a full on cry! Perhaps we got the wrong kind of cake.... or maybe he resented the fact that it wasn't his actual birthday. His birthday was a day after. We went to Wagamama... and Edgar had his own food.... Which he didn't eat much... Do not think we are ready for restaurant food just yet... But it will be nice when he will. It was strangely emotional realising that my baby got older.... And that we were parents for over a year now. ... come to think of this again......

It is hard when you move to the new place.... You do not really know where to go and what to do and most importantly you do not know who to do it with. Luckily our friends are amazing and always come to visit, and vice versa. Owen came over for couple of days... and we were heading to Alton Towers. Well we thought we were. We went to Dudley Zoo instead and clouds decided to clear out so we had a barbecue in the garden after. For a smallish zoo only 30 mins away from our house it was actually quiet fun and big.  Walking around lemur enclosure with them just running free next to you...  Here is Owen talking to monkey... "Hey Monkey... Monkey!!! Hey Monkey..." Actually he has a quiet a wild life whisperer... Do not know how long we would have waited for penguins to go to the water, if Owen didn't have a stern word with them. .. True Story! For the barbecue I was supposed to clean it and make a dessert... Oh! Strawber...

Nobody think I'm 27, even I don't think I'm 27.... And I am being asked for an ID all the time, so logical thing was to tell everyone that I am 23... At this moment I am feeling more like 127... but it will pass... We went to Bill's restaurant with hubby. It was lovely... service style is a bit strange but maybe they haven't quiet got this yet... Table wasn't great but I guess one day I will learn to book a table for my birthday! This amaretto sour was soo good! So I had two:) We skipped the starter to save space for dessert. I had great mussels and fries. Lovely sauce with skinny fries on the side... dream! Hubby had some very good looking lamb stew. These dumplings were too good to pass on but yet, I didn't fancy them, might have to go again! Now this is a massive pumpkin cream brulee. Not quiet what I expected, thought it might be with some warm spices in it... Like pumpkin pie... but not quiet. I think there is some space to im...

What pops into your mind when you hear winter???  I think of baby oranges... any kind. Satsumas, clementines... anything orange that smells like Christmas and New Year! Ideally I want some real pine or fur tree next to my oranges for a full effect..  Anyone knows where I can find some brunches of the fur trees in Cardiff??  And then I think what do to for my birthday?! I booked I think 4 days for the occasion... These lovely lights are in the shops and on the streets of Cardiff... At the moment I'm looking for my birthday present for my self...  These are super special!  Oh and Winter is coming... yeah I said it! I really need to get on with Game of Thrones books!
