A friend of mine got in touch yesterday. We haven’t seen each other for years, I think it might be about 8 years if not more, he said our colleague when we all used to work in the bar has passed away and it was almost 2 years ago. He just found out. I had no idea either...  This truly is shocking she was so young. And what I found more shocking that I had no idea this had happened.  This news made me think about how life is busy and complicated. And short. How I don’t actually talk to people I used to live with, or people I used to work with... how all his social media meant to keep us connected but it is clearly not doing its job. But don’t worry I won’t forget to say happy birthday on your birthday, my Facebook will remind me.  I suppose it is narual that not all our relationship meant to last... and how we know about what celebrity died and not a girl you used to work with for over a year. What does this say about our culture and society?! (It’s a rhetorical, and food ...

Time... Stop! I am not ready!

Last week was the week of firsts...  So Edgar climbed out of the his cot at his grand parents.... He just looked so pleased with himself. But I wasn't so. This means the nap time over there will be a nightmare.  Some one also got his first scraped knee.  We were out in the park with the dog and Egg jumped off the bench and landed on some gravel. But he was very brave. Had a little cry and then was just fasinated by that new thing on his knee! And finally my little boy is a little climber. If you are following me on Instagram you would have seen a post from few days ago...  He can't quiet reach with his feet so he uses his knees. That kid is so smart!  ... But not when he is having a tantrum and headbutts the floor or the wall....  But thinking about him growing up so quickly I can't help but cry. God I am such a mum!

Sad week. Cancer sucks!

It has really been a bad week for some big people passing...  Week has started with terrible news about Bowie. The amazing artist. I didn't even realised how many songs I like are his. He was still young and with new album coming out... the news made even sadder.  Space Oddity is one of my very favourite. Commander Chris Hadfeild made it truly special...  Yesterday as I was fighting with the offspring about the nap time, I looked on twitter to shock news about Alan Rickman! Now that was ...  We just saw his latest film... the little chaos. Here is the blog post about it. All I can say that we all something special with these great men!

Longest week ever...

And not the greatest week either... I was so busy with everything... Went to London in the beginning to the week to drop off the documents at the Embassy for a new passport. Stress.... But to be honest the lady I dealt with was lovely, well my name will be misspelled in the new passport (bloody auto translation) I went for sushi and met Natasha:) This was very nice! Then it was work work work!!!! We have no staff... or we do but they do not show for the shifts... well I do not really care I just want to have bodies to work.... I miss my Cardiff ladies... To top everything we had to go to Emergency to have a new x-ray for Hubby's arm...It hasn't actually heal properly  but we have been told to chill for a week and not to lift anything really. Ice and keep it raised to take the swelling off... And the day later one of out little rats passed away.... I do not think I would want more rats... ...

things I love at this moment...

I know some might think its all hippy shit... well I know husband will. But I'm a real Sagittarius!.... I'm ever changing... also it's hard to be a December baby... FIY my cake day is this Sunday (16th December).. At the moment I love Bush in my headphones.... I think I really started to enjoy bush since seeing them live in Mancherster  in Academy.. when I was blown away... Ripped over sized clothes with Dr. Martins on my very small feet... (only certain models fit and I don't fall out of them) Dark and sad films.... Dark like Flat-liners and sad like Painted Veil... I think I just need an occasion  to cry... it releasing the tension! One must have a reason to cry..like a sad film.... otherwise it' not fun! .... and I'm hoping to have a fantastic birthday celebrations... nothing fancy, just food, drinks, board games and people that matter!  and Moonrise Kingdom DVD :) hint people!!
