Very Small Feet

I do enjoy looking for presents... not done in the rush! My hubby's birthday is few months away and I'm already looking for presents... Found  this cool thing  on my favourite  Etsy . Don't think he has time to read me anyhow! On unrelated... I really enjoy my job! Hoping to get full time hours, so fingers crossed!

I love love salads! This one we have at work, its crunchier at work... I do not have a food processor, but I do have a grater:) I made one this morning.... Ingredients     2 medium size carrots     1 medium size mule (I used the red one)     3 small cooked beetroot (I bought these vucc pack from the supermarket)     1 fennel     1 apple     mint     juice of one lemon     olive oil     salt and pepper Method    Grate all the veggies together. Add some roughly chopped mint into the mix of veggies, season. Squeeze the  juice of one lemon and add olive oil, one part of juice to two part olive oil. Mix together until the dressing turns into yellow thicker mix. Add to the salad, stir together and enjoy! To be honest with you can use other root vegetables, like root celeriac or parsnips. Pears are great in the salad too!

I know I know... it has been so long! I got a new exciting job... Me and hubby are actually working together. I am host and seater and he is still in the kitchen doing the magic! From this day I promise to blog twice a week... Actually have so many ideas!!! Stay tuned

I had a 1st shift yesterday.... Some time 2 weeks ago I had in interview. Jon, dude who interviewed me knows me from the hotel work. 20min of interview he was telling how great I am. What was so strange! Well had my 1st day yesterday... Very busy restaurant.. but I managed great! People were telling hubby how nice I am and that I worth my weight in gold for dealing with all the French people. My feet are aching and I need to go get comfy black shoes... boring! But if this will stop me from hurting and not slipping.... its well worth it! I keep seeing Game of Thrones adds on TV! CANNOT WAIT!!! really need to catch up with reading it!! And today I feel it is a good day for crafting... so stay tuned!!  P.S. Work shifts are unstable ... so tattoo will have to wait for a bit  

Some how we have created the baking leaving tradition... Me and Choi made cakes when out housekeepers were leaving to better jobs. She did some cute cupcakes and I did something of the Wimbledon Cake.... but used the wrong flower so it was something a bit different... When Viera made decision to leave I made cupcakes! And here is the recipe: 100g Softened butter 150g Self-raising flour 150g Caster sugar 3tbsp Milk 2 Eggs 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract I made 2 bowls of mixture, one vanilla and one chocolate. Just put bit less flour and added 2 tbsp of coco powder. Pre-heat the oven at 180C put muffin cases into the muffin tin. I put spoon of every mixture in the case to have a marble effect. And bake them for 20-25min. I am ashamed to admit but the icing was bought, I run out of vanilla at that stage. So just pipe out the icing on the cupcake and in this case I used Maltesers to decorate. I can tell you that there was nothing left and everyone put on a...

I cannot believe I have a race tomorrow... First one of the year! but I didn't train! The night shifts killed me... So I might die... please tell my hubby I love him and to feed Daisy the bunny once a day :) Will report back tomorrow
