Subscription box review. Boxcitement
If you are a friend and a reader you know that I love a subscription box. Like a lot! There have been good few I have already tired and wrote about and so here is a new one in series: Daria loves a subscription box.
The packaging is cute and postbox friendly, so no trip to neighbors or post Office Depot!...
I liked the note cards with different designs and different occasions. Very cute! Not sure what Jelly birthday supposed to mean but hey it’s cute, and yes it had a picture of jelly fish on it.
There was also this over sized coaster type of thing, that I do like and will try to find use for. And design is very cute too!
The mermaid makeup brush looks like its from 2 years ago, when everything was mermaid. Also I don’t need it. The box of mints I will use but seems like a filler item. And the necklace.... I do have a bit issue with it. Photos don’t actually show how yellow that gold tone it, it’s yellow and tatty, the shell design is lovely but everything else I hate... I think I might try to redo it. Sorry whoever came up with it, idea is nice but the colour... that tatty colour... make me shiver!
I don’t know if you seen the Boxcitement advert, basically it’s what it’s portmanteaus implies, a lovely gifts in a box via your postbox. Jewellery, stationary and suprises is what the website promises.
The Ausgust edition which I got is also donating money to marine conservation society. And after entering a code I will be getting a special mystery box.
So here it is!

a little touch that what is in the box is actually hidden and there is a very cute illustration. Definitely pleasnet surprises and well thought about and executed!
However the content is a bit ... well alright I guess.

Fish shaped paper clips are very nice too. I think I might use the as book marks, or maybe even for work.
Of course I loved the little seahorse pinbadge coz who doesn’t love the pinbadge?!

However, there were things I wasn’t so keen on...

In conclusion, I think I liked it. It does fulfill its mission to get you a present in a box via post. What I like really about the subscription boxes! And I really loved the charity aspect of this particular box...
I also like that it’s rather a small local business, and it seems to run rather well unlike the last one I have ordered the box from.
I didn’t cancel my subscription yet, I am very curious about the mystery box and September one! Also it’s only the second time I try the lifestyle box, rather then mainly cosmetics, like birtchbox, my little box, glossy box.
